multi-port license server

Having trouble entering your license key(s)?

multi-port license server

Postby toddp » Sun Mar 25, 2007 3:01 pm

hello,

I have purchased and installed a voice license and a 4-port concurrency license. The installation went fine, but when I run:

swift -V

I get :

Cepstral Swift v4.2.0, March 2007

Default Voice: Callie-8kHz v4.2.0
Language: US English v4.2.0
Lexicon: US English v4.2.0

Concurrency: License Server Unreachable
Running in Single Token Mode

Copyright (C) 2000-2006, Cepstral LLC.

I understand that the license server process needs to run on my local machine, however running /opt/swift/bin/cepstral-licsrv produces no output, and leaves no process running.

This in on i386 linux (fedora)

cheers,

-Todd

My understanding is:

When you run the following command, this would automatically start the license server if its not already running. You do not need to explicitly start the license server with cepstral's TTS solution.

swift -n Callie -f <file to synthezie> <other options>
