Voices won't install properly on your system?

Capstral for Linux

Postby clemkonan » Thu Dec 21, 2006 5:07 pm

I am hoping that Capstral is the solution to my problem of how to migrate my 3 home computers from Windows to Linux ( ubuntu).

Where can I find installation instructions for Linux and in the event I want to keep one PC running Windows XP do I kave to buy a separate version for Windows?

In terms of voices can I get an English voice with an Indian accent?

Thanks for the feedback

Installing Cepstral voices on Linux is not much different than many other Linux programs. Cepstral's Linux FAQ are has installation instructions.

Because Linux and Windows voices are two different products, you'll need separate licenses for each.

Cepstral currently has no Indian accented voices.

Thanks.
