Reading individual characters

Postby earthshaker » Mon Sep 03, 2007 3:52 pm

I am a ham radio operator, and we want to use Cepstral Callie to read some announcements for us, we have one issue however, if "she" reads the callsign, kc0qnb, it sounds like k c 0 q n b, which is fine, but if she reads kc0sok, it comes out k c 0 sok (sock), anything I can do to change this?
Granted if the text in manually input, we can alter the pronunciation, somewhat, but some of the text, such as status reports are generated automatically with no human intervention.
Best regards, Ryan (KC0QNB)

Create a custom Lexicon for the phrase "kc0qnb" that why when the engine encounters it you can control its output.
