"... has a wavy ..."

Voices aren't working properly?

"... has a wavy ..."

Using the Callie voice, the phrase "... has a wavy ..." pronounced "... has the wavy ..."
The same thing happens with the phrase "the bus is a way of getting home"

We have worked around this by sending "... has uh wavy ..." to the speech engine but it's an odd issue to have.

That is an odd issue. Could you tell me what version of the voice you are using so we can test this? In the meantime, your solution is a good work-around.

This is Version 5.1 and we are seeing this on both WinXP 32-bit and Win7 64-bit.

I was able to reproduce this issue with the Callie Windows Version 5 voice. We are always working on improving our voices, and this is something we will aim to address in the next release of our voices, which should be sometime later this year.

Thank you for the bug report.
