Hello.

This is my first post and need help figuring out what's going on with my Cepstral and Swift installation. I installed both ok without too much trouble except fot the patch I needed to use to install swift. Now, is installed and when doing a test I get the following errors:

-- Executing [702@local-calls:1] Answer("SIP/101-00000002", "") in new stack
-- Executing [702@local-calls:2] Playback("SIP/101-00000002", "welcome") in new stack
-- <SIP/101-00000002> Playing 'welcome.gsm' (language 'es')
-- Executing [702@local-calls:3] Swift("SIP/101-00000002", "Hello this is ceptral") in new stack
[Jul 28 18:45:45] NOTICE[5264]: app_swift.c:304 engine: Text to Speak : Hello this is ceptral
[Jul 28 18:45:45] ERROR[5264]: app_swift.c:338 engine: Failed to set voice.

I am using:

asterisk*CLI> core show version
Asterisk 1.6.1.18 built by root @ optimum-asterisk on a i686 running Linux on 2010-04-10 01:42:25 UTC

Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advanced for your help and time.

We waited for a better Asterisk expert than us to respond but here we are. Is it possible that the swift engine is looking for a spanish voice (because you told it to somewhere?) and not finding one? We noted the following:

Playing 'welcome.gsm' (language 'es')

'es' of course being spanish.
