Has anyone used the Cepstral TTS with vmware or does this require a sound card on a physical machine?

We are going to use Cepstral "Allison" for an IVR app. on Windows 2003 with SAPI 5.1 (or better).

Has anyone been successful in using Cepstral TTS with a virtual server?

We have been using virtual machines internally at Cepstral to test our software on a variety of guest OS platforms including Windows and Linux. We have not observed any problems resulting from either VMWare or Parallels.

Hello Everyone,

I have tried to run Linux(Fedora 8.0) virtually. But I was not able to create virtual Hard Disk.
I do not want to use my actual Hard Disk and want to run OS virtually.

So ,can anyone tell me How to create virtual Hard Disk??

Ok. let's gather some information:

What is the host OS?
What is the virtualization software you are using?
I assume the guest OS is Fedora 8.

The virtual hard disk of a guest OS is usually not more than a file in the host OS. So if you're not able to create the virtual hard disk, it's something like lack of permissions and what not.
